For industries that require operation in aggressive, corrosive, and/or oxidizing environments, CEXCO offers valves made from DUPLEX (A890 4A) and SUPER DUPLEX (A890 5A) materials. If these conditions also involve high pressures (100 bar) and require achieving a leakage class VI (zero leakage) according to ANSI standards, a soft seat must be used, in this case, Nylon seats.
The combination of DUPLEX and Nylon allows for operation in these aggressive environments and with high pressures.
For these requirements, CEXCO has manufactured DUPLEX and SUPER DUPLEX ball valves with 600LB construction and BW connections. Smaller valves are lever-operated, while larger valves (3” and 4”) are fitted with DREHMO brand electric actuators.
Given the demands of working with high differential pressures, the manufactured valve model is of the Trunnion type. This design facilitates valve operation, as the torque required for opening and closing is significantly reduced with this Trunnion construction.
Other construction types are available, for example:
* Metal seats for high temperatures.
* Wide range of ball valve sizes: 1/2” to 40”.
* Other connection types: SW, RF, etc.
* Designs for higher pressures: 1500LB, 2500LB, etc.
* Internal treatments such as ball hardening by hard chrome plating, nickel plating, hardened nickel, STL, nitriding, tungsten carbide.
