CEXCO supplies the valve package for a new Marpol waste treatment plant construction project in North Africa. This supply includes manual and pneumatic ball valves up to 10″ (DN-250), check valves, 3-way control valves, and safety valves. The supply was completed with various instrumentation.
Due to the end client’s requirements, the valves have been manufactured with anti-corrosion paint according to the ISO12944 C4 standard. For this, 3 layers of different thicknesses were applied, totaling a thickness ≥ 250µ:
- Zinc-rich epoxy primer.
- Epoxy layer pigmented with MIO (micaceous iron oxide).
- Polyurethane topcoat.
The end-user of this plant is a globally renowned company belonging to the ACS group and a leader in its sector in industrial waste treatment and water management.
